Confessions of Faith: Speaking Words of Power
Many times we often underestimate the power of the words that come out of our mouth. Words do have POWER and we have the ability to choose how we use them. Every time we speak we are either planting seed, or watering a seed that has already been planted. Our words have the power to destroy and also have the power to build up (Proverbs 12:6). This means when you wake up and groan that you’re going to “have the longest day ever”, you are simply planting seed and you will eat of its fruit.
For example, you can’t plant apple seeds and expect to harvest grapefruit. You can speak negative statements throughout your day as much as you feel fit, however don’t expect positivity to come from it.
In Hebrews, God spoke the world into being by the power of His words. (Hebrews 11:3) The purpose of “Confessions of Faith” is to give you the opportunity to plant positive seeds in your life while at the same time feeding your spirit with Gods Word. Not only does this remind satan of his place beneath you, it reminds you of God’s promises, and prepares you for a powerful harvest.
Take a second each day to speak aloud a Confession of Faith. I promise you will see a difference!
