Sometimes life can get so overwhelming you tend to look for an escape; a hiding place. You don’t want to think about your job or your funds or physical challenges, and the list goes on. Quite often we start to drown in the thoughts of what we have ahead of us. Choose to make today a day where you take a moment, and instead of thinking of what is ahead of you, think of what God has already helped you conquer. As you’re thinking of the week ahead and what it brings, look back and remember how you weren’t sure how you’d get through the month. You, child of God, are a display of His splendor. That escape you’ve been looking for is in His presence. Allow Him to surround you with the joyful shouts of deliverance today as He guides through the rest of your journey.
Prayer Guide: God I want You to be my hiding place. I won’t give up, I won’t give in because I know that with You I am victorious. I ask that You incline my spiritual ears to listen carefully while You surround me with joyful songs of deliverance today. I recognize how far I have to go but I appreciate how far You have already brought me. Thank You Father, I will continue to trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
