“And call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honor and glorify Me.”
-Psalm 50:15 NKJV
Now God is going to help us whether we want it or not sometimes (like any loving parent would) because most times we may not even recognize that we need it. However, our God doesn’t leave us in the ditch somewhere for us to figure it out on our own. That’s how amazing He is. However, we can be so stubborn that we don’t accept help from others not realizing it could be through Him. There is a difference in faith and foolishness. Say you didn’t know how you were going to pay for your next meal. It’s great for you to step your faith up and believe God will meet your needs in providing for that meal, because He will. It’s foolish when someone comes up to you to bless you with the exact funds and you deny them based on your faith, and sometimes pride. God works through people all of the time. We are his vessels. You have no idea how He may plan to help and it may not always make sense, but keep your eyes open because He has your back!
Prayer Guide: Thank you Father, for helping me in ways I may not even recognize right away. Help me discern the difference of being faithful and being foolish. I want to fully receive the benefits of the life you have planned for me. You take pleasure in the prosperity of your servants. That includes me, and I desire to please you. Thank you for your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
