“Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.”

-2 Corinthians 3:4-5

Whatever challenge you are facing or are about to face, do it with confidence. As a child of God, we know not to lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Why is it that we tend to lean on our own competency? We tend to think our dreams are unreachable, that the things we want to achieve can’t be done. The Greater One indwells us (1 John 4:4), which means that the same power our Creator holds, we hold, once we choose to make Him our Heavenly Father and become His heir. What seems impossible becomes possible. What appears to be a closed door opens for His children in the name of Jesus. Therefore, the audition/interview you’re about to go on, the exam you’re about to take, the dream car you want, absolutely any goal you want to reach- claim it with confidence! Don’t allow the enemy to attack your emotions. You may feel like giving up, like everything you do is not enough. God doesn’t want us to feel as though we have the weight on our shoulders to carry alone. “I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, and plans to give you hope and a future.”- Jeremiah 29:11. Nowhere does God say He has plans to watch you fail, stress out, or suffer. He will not give us more than we can bear. Therefore, walk into every situation not based on the confidence of your own abilities or competencies, but through out competence that comes from God.

Prayer Guide:Lord I know that with you I can accomplish absolutely anything. I ask that you please help me when the enemy tries to tell me I can’t, because I know I can do ALL things through Christ. You know the desires I have in my heart and I ask that you make it abundantly clear on the path you’d like me to take. Help me walk boldly and confidently into every challenge, reminding me that you are walking with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
