“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.”
-2 Corinthians 13:13 ESV
We readily accept Gods love for others, but we struggle with the belief that He loves us just as equally, radically, and unfailingly. Why is that? Is that because we insist on trying to create God in our image? It’s easy to struggle with Gods love for you because you yourself know your own sins and weaknesses. You basically know all the reasons He shouldn’t love you, according to yourself. We relentlessly insist on trying to humanize God, to make sense out of Him. But the grace of God is not something we can make sense of because we tend to love people according to how they act. Take a moment to praise God that we are not God, and that He is not made in our image. His love for you is unconditional, which means under no circumstance or condition will it change. Sin does not affect the love God has for you, shame is the enemy’s weapon. Today, and everyday moving forward remind satan that he is defeated.
Prayer Guide: Dear God, Your love for me is beyond my comprehension. No one loves me like You do. I need to remember that. Thank You for Your continuous grace and mercy. Most of all, thank You for loving me the way You do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
