Seek Him First

“But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.”

If you whole-heartedly seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, God has promised to give you everything you need. You won’t have to fret over what you will eat, what you will drink, or what you will wear. Think about the beautiful natural wonders of this world. The beautiful beaches, the wild flowers that grow in the fields. If God makes what grows in the field so beautiful, what do you think He will do for you? Surely He will do much more for you. Step Your Faith Up!

Prayer Guide: Lord it’s easy for me to get distracted by the hardships from day to day. When it seems like I’m losing my focus on your righteousness, please help me get back on track. I want to seek You first in all that I do because my heart is to bring honor and glory to You and You alone. Thank You for your promises, I trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
