If we spend our time looking for other people’s approval, we may be highly disappointed. We were not created for the mere hope that others will like us or approve of our lives. As God’s children, we only have one obligation, and that is to please Him. Someone may not understand certain steps along your journey but that is because they were never meant to. They have their own steps and their own journey. Remember each day Who you are choosing to serve.
Prayer Guide: Lord, please help me to realize and remember what my purpose is. I don’t want to continue looking for others approval because I know it’s only Yours that matters. I know I need to be accepting of the differences in the life of people around me because You created each of us with Your own intention. I thank you for helping me stay focused on the plan you have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
